Google Authentication and User Data
Data Accessed
StellarCompass uses Google Sign-In only to authenticate approved admin and instructor users. The application uses the authenticated Google email address only to check whether that email is on the approved admin or instructor access roster. StellarCompass does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Contacts, Workspace files, or other Google user content.
Data Usage
Google authentication is used only to verify identity and authorize access to protected admin and instructor portals. Google authentication data is not used for advertising, analytics profiling, resale, AI model training, or unrelated purposes.
Data Sharing
StellarCompass does not sell or share Google user data. Google authentication information is used only for the internal access-control process, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary for secure operation of application infrastructure.
Data Storage & Protection
StellarCompass maintains its own approved admin and instructor access rosters separately. Google authentication is used at sign-in to confirm that the login email matches the approved roster. StellarCompass does not store Google user content or broader Google account data. Access to protected portals is limited by role-based authorization, roster checks, and reasonable infrastructure security safeguards.
Data Retention & Deletion
Because StellarCompass does not retain Google user content or broader Google account data, there is no Google user content retained for deletion. Approved access roster entries are retained only while the person is authorized for admin or instructor access. To request removal from an access roster or deletion of associated account access records, contact support@StellarCompass.app.
